IJET 28, Columbus, Ohio

Japan’s economic ties with Ohio are significant. The Institute for Japanese Studies (IJS) at The Ohio State University was created in 1985 through a gubernatorial initiative in recognition of Ohio's national status as the second greatest site of Japanese manufacturing investment. Honda has its North American research and manufacturing arm headquartered in Dublin, and employs more than 13,000 people in the state. Among other fields, IJET-28 Columbus is an excellent opportunity for translators to network with peers in the automotive and pharmaceutical industries.

Knowledge of the industry landscape and building relationships with other industry professionals both play a large part in achieving one’s career goals. IJET presentations cover everything from simple advice for newcomers to the latest technologies and other advanced topics for the highly experienced. We are delighted to be working with the IJET committee in order to contribute to this event through our sponsorship. Here at TBSJ, we truly see IJET as an invaluable resource for all Japanese-English language professionals, and also as a great way to meet people from all corners of the industry.
